Summer Camp Sexual Assaults
Summer camps are a place where children and teenagers can explore their interests, make new friends, and create lifelong memories. However, they can also be a place where sexual assaults occur. While summer camp sexual assaults are not new, they are receiving increased attention as survivors share their stories and demand accountability from camp administrators. The effects of child sexual abuse can be long-lasting and significantly impact victims’ mental health. Victims are more likely to develop symptoms of drug abuse, experience PTSD as adults, and experience major depressive episodes as adults [2]. The prevalence of sexual violence in summer camps is a serious concern that demands immediate attention and action.

Humankind is ever-evolving. New developments enter the market each day, making life a little bit simpler than it was yesterday. The rise of Artificial Intelligence has changed our personal lives, our transportation, and most relevant, our careers. Artificial Intelligence has spread wide and far, and it is now responding to emails, preparing taxes, operating self-driven vehicles, helping out around the house, and more recently, doing legal research.

Current Sexual Assault Cases
Sexual assault victims are hesitant to share their stories because of many stigmas that are associated with those who report these acts. Victims are framed as liars, receive negative comments, and sometimes receive retaliation from their abusers. Every survivor deserves to never live in perpetual fear of their abuser and too many survivors carry the burden of shame and guilt when they should not. No one deserves to live like that.
